Why Bodyweight Exercises?

Bodyweight exercises use your own body as resistance. This means you don’t need fancy gym equipment to get strong. You can do them anywhere, any time. Plus, they’re perfect for building overall strength and fitness.

Top Bodyweight Exercises to Try

Push-Ups

Push-ups are great for your chest, shoulders, and arms. Start in a plank position with your hands under your shoulders. Lower yourself down until your chest is just above the ground. Then, push back up to the starting position. If this is too hard, try doing push-ups on your knees.

Squats

Squats work your legs and glutes. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart. Lower your body as if you’re sitting in a chair. Keep your back straight and go as low as you can. Stand back up to complete one rep.

Plank

The plank strengthens your core. Start in a push-up position but keep your arms straight. Hold your body in a straight line from head to heels. Try to hold the plank for 30 seconds and build up your time as you get stronger.

Mountain Climbers

These are excellent for cardio and core strength. Start in a plank position. Bring one knee towards your chest, then switch legs quickly, as if you’re running in place while on the ground.

Remember, consistency is key. Try to add these exercises into your routine a few times a week. You’ll start seeing results in no time!
